Hey, I’m Claire.

I’m a burnt out graduate who has found a passion for cooking over the last four years. While I love the end result of cooking, I also really enjoy the process of creating dishes. I find it therapeutic and relaxing, and also incredibly creative and inspiring; for me, cooking is a form of mindfulness and self care.

While I love many forms of art, cooking is my favorite medium, because of its temporality. You spend an hour or so creating your masterpiece, you share it with your friends and family over drinks and laughter, and then it’s gone. It becomes a wonderful, delicious, sensory memory.

With this blog, I hope to hone my craft, practice following and creating recipes, and share my therapy.
