I’ve always wanted to be that person that brings homemade loaves of bread as hostess gifts (along with a bottle of red, obv, I’m not rude), but I’ve always been intimidated by bread making. It sounded complicated and time consuming and, as we’ve already discussed, I’m reckless with my measurements and have little to no patience — qualities that do not make for a good baker.
But recently, I tackled my fear by starting with a simple, easy artisan bread recipe. And boy is she beautiful.

I won’t bore you with the recipe, seeing as it’s not even my own — it’s from Tasty (here: https://tasty.co/recipe/homemade-dutch-oven-bread). It’s such an easy recipe, and the bread is so so good.
It takes about 6 hours, between rising and baking, so make sure you have enough time for it. It’s worth it though!
